Covid 19 vaccinations update

The practice strongly recommends vaccination against Covid-19.

We have worked in collaboration with the other Rugby GP practices

(Rugby Health Ltd, Primary Care Network)

to administer vaccines at:

Locke House, The Railings, Woodside Park, Rugby, CV21 2AW.

We have now almost completed our second doses of vaccine for all patients over 50 and for those over 16 who are at increased risk from Covid as defined by Government guidelines.

If you are awaiting your second dose of vaccine, you will be invited by the surgery around 8 weeks after your first dose.

Please ensure that you have told us your current mobile phone or landline number.

If you are over 50, or believe that you have a reason to receive priority vaccination, and have not yet received your first Covid 19 vaccination but would like to do so, please contact the surgery as soon as possible.

If it is more than 8 weeks since your first dose and you would like to receive the second please contact the surgery as soon as possible.

Patients aged from 30-50 have also been offered vaccination through the National Vaccination System. These vaccinations take place at various pharmacies, hospitals or special centres such as Stoneleigh, but may also be available at Locke House in the future.

However, appointment bookings for patients under 50 are not arranged by the practice and will need to be made through the National Booking Service.

If you are under 50 and not in a high risk group please await contact from NHS England.

Please do not contact the surgery in these circumstances.

Vaccinations are, of course, subject to the availability of vaccine which is beyond our control.
